The Playa Laiya is a development project strategically located at Brgy Laiya, Aplaya, San Juan, Batangas. Batangas, one of the most sought-after destinations near Metro Manila, is popular for the Taal Volcano and numerous beaches and diving spots, including Anilao in Mabini, Ligpo Island, Matabungkay, Sombrero Island, Punta Fuego, Catalatagan, and Laiya in San Juan.

San Juan, Batangas is a first-class municipality located in the easternmost part of Batangas province. Popular among local and international tourists for its white-sand beaches, it is one of the top destinations during the summer months. The municipality is also one of the principal suppliers of agricultural commodities in the province. It is also popular for several tourist destinations such as the San Juan Nepomuceno Church, the Mount Daguldol, the Mangrove Forest at Barangay Poctol, ancestral houses across the town, historical municipal hall, the Malaking River at Barangay Poctol, and the Naambon Falls.

The Playa Laiya has an extensive beachfront covering 1.5 kilometers out of the whole 7 kilometers of Laiya coast. It can easily be accessed only 2 hours and 30 minutes away from Metro Manila and 1 hour away from Lipa City and San Pablo City. The Playa Laiya is set in an ideal and convenient location down South. There are schools and universities nearby and one of which is the San Juan Campus of the Batangas State University, otherwise known as the BSU- San Juan. The Batangas State University San Juan Campus is just 17.5 km away from the property or about a 25-min drive. It houses three colleges, namely the College of Teacher Education, the College of Industrial Technology, and the College of Accountancy, Business, Economics, and International Hospitality Management. The Batangas State University – Rosario campus, on the other hand, is approximately 44.8 km from the Playa Laiya. Day Care Centers, public elementary schools, and public high schools are also prominent in the area such as the Laiya National High School (2.2 km), the Laiya Elementary School (2.2 km), the Bataan Day Care Center (5.3 km), the Nagsaulay Elementary School (6.3 km), the Nagsaulay High School (6.9 km), the Calubcub 2 Elementary School (10.4 km), the Calubcub 1 Elementary School (12.4 km), and the Paaralang Elementarya ng Subukin (11.3 km) among others.

There are also a few churches near the Playa Laiya. The St. Anthony of Padua Chapel can easily be accessed even by foot as it is only 1.2 km from the residential area of Playa Laiya. On the other hand, the Iglesia ni Cristo Lokal ng Laiya is within the 1.3 km distance and the Saint Joseph Marello Tower is within the 850 m distance. The Our Lady of Fatima Chapel is approximately 4.5 km away from the residential area of Playa Laiya. Other chapels include the San Andres Chapel (7.7 km) and the Calubcub Chapel (11.8 km). The main Catholic church in San Juan, the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish Church, the UCCP Church, the San Juan Bible Church, and the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ can be found at the town’s main center which is more or less 20 km from the Playa Laiya.

The Laiya Ibabao Barangay Hall is also accessible from the area in just 1.9 km distance. In 2.5 km can be found the Municipal Government of San Juan Health Office. The San Juan Municipal Hall, on the other hand, is within about the 20.2 km distance.

Likewise, there are also several shopping centers nearby to ensure that the residents and guests will find ways to easily go shopping and buy groceries. Residents and guests have several shopping options such as the Golden M Superstore (11.4 km), the Ongville Shopping Center Candelaria (36 km), the Benjo’s Commercial Center (21.6 km), and other small retail shops near the community. The closest bank is the Bolbok Rural Bank, Inc., which is about 11.6 km away from the property. At the town’s poblacion, there are several commercial establishments and public markets such as the San Juan Public Market, the Manalo’s Mini Mart, the Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshop, the BDO – San Juan, the Metrobank, the CARD Bank, the Bangko Kabayan – San Juan branch, the Malarayat Rural Bank, Inc., the Mercury Drug, the Puregold Junior, the Saveland Hypermart, the Palawan Express, the Lucky M Pharmacy and Laboratory, the Generika Drug Store, the Ditas Ronquillo’s Dry Goods, the Banahaw Heals Spa – San Juan branch, and much more.

As for health concerns, there are three big hospitals in the town of San Juan and these are the Duque General Hospital (12.6 km), the San Juan Doctors Hospital (22.7 km), and the San Juan District Hospital (19.4 km).

For adventure-seekers and adrenaline-loving folks, the Laiya Adventure Park is just 2.4 km in distance from the Playa Laiya. It is a park that offers several attractions including a 630 m zip line, a 30 ft high giant swing, an aerial walk, outdoor wall climbing on a 40 ft wall, rappelling on a 40 ft wall, free fall from a 40 ft tower, ATV, and an infinity pool.
